Term 2 Week 4 Reading

 This story is about the oil spill that was near astrolabe reef on 5th of October 2011

The characters are mum, dad, child 1, child 2, child 3, Grandma, and Granddad

Problem there was a oil spill at a beach so the children could not play on the beach

There was once a girl that lived on a boat over the great barrier reef. It is her home, school and where her friends are at. Her boat made a oil spill and her friends were dying and then harriot somehow saves the day

There was a boat that was holding about 50 million gallons of oil and the boat was called Exxon Valdez. The ship slammed into a underwater reef and the oil spilled out of the boat. Most of the oil comes up into shore in oil spills.

Term 2 Week 4 my twist of three little pigs

hello readers this my twist of the three little pigs the true story i hope you like it.

One day Harry, Kiaz and Jack were walking down the road when they got a notification on their phone. It said there will be a lightning storm! So they separated to find resources to build a house for shelter but they lost each other so they had to find more resources to build their own house for shelter.  After a while Jack and Harry finished there house one was made of straw and the other was made of sticks a couple moments after Harry and Jack finished their Stick and straw house Kiaz just finished and than the storm came covering the nice, warm blue sky. All three houses got stuck by lightning and the straw and the stick house caught on fire, the stick house was burning slower than the straw house because the straw house burned instantly Harry and Jack suddenly bumped into each other and a kind wolf helped them up and let them stay at the kind wolf modern mansion. The End

Term 2 Week 3 reading

 My story is called swallowed by the sea and it is about a family surviving a storm with heavy rain and huge waves (not tsunamis)

The characters are: mum and her daughter

Some stuff about 2 fairy tales:A cyclone hit her farm house and she is now in the tornado inside her bedroom. She landed on someone and took her silver shoes and she walked to the emerald city she met the wizard and she got a mission to  get rid of the wicked witch and she did get rid of her and she walked back to the emerald city and she met the wizard again and made it that if she tapped her silver shoes 3 times and say where she wants to go she teleport's

Odysseus and his army was coming back from war on a boat and they stumbled across a island. They found a cave with milk, cheese and sheep and Odysseus wanted to stay in the cave a bit more until a giant went into the cave and the giant ate two of his men he carved a stick and made it sharp. He gave the giant some wine and said his name was nobody he poked the giant in the eye and the giant screamed. Later on when he was screaming some other giants came along and he said that nobody came into my cave and nobody hurt me and they went away because he said nobody.

This book is about an alien on earth and is trying to message there leader that they should cancel the alien invasion to take over earth

The characters are ash, 3 young children, and a old man that can turn into a bird  

Some stuff about Venus: Scientists on earth think that there might be some sort of alien life on Venus so they left researching mars and went to Venus. They say that life might be able to grow on the lower clouds of Venus. The patterns on Venus looks like that there was water on Venus and it all the water went away because of how hot it was and the microorganisms found a nice cool place in the low clouds of Venus.

Some stuff about aliens and UFOs: People say that they were on UFOs but i think they were dreaming. Aliens may look like that they have grey or green skin, huge heads to fit there big brains but they might be able to shape shift. or they might be like an microorganism. In 1947 a flying object crashed and everyone thought it was a UFO but the government said it was a weather balloon

Wild things create task

The story is about people who went on a road trip to a old Bach they ran  into a possum that happened to run into them occasionally 

marina, fleur, dad and a possum are the characters.

Problem:  there was a possum that one of them thought was a monster and the other person said it was a possum they got dad to scare it away. in the morning they dug a hole to trap the possum at night when the possum came out the they thrown a stick like a spear and chased after it the slowest one could not catch up and the fastest one t shirt got stuck on a branch and dad fall in the hole and nearly broke his ankle, the possum was still running and left a greenish brown nugget and the possum never came back .

We are only allowed to keep a possum if your regional council allows it or you are researching how to kill it. Baby possums are dying because of hunger and this is because hunters are ripping baby possums out of there mother pouch and the soft root of their mouth is damaged. There are strict criteria around breeding possums According to Greater Wellington Regional Council, possums can be kept as pets, but cannot be released, bred or sold.
